Description: The awarding authority has recently reopened its specified location Small Grants scheme and is able to provide grants, of up to £10,000, to UK registered charities and CICs that work with and deliver projects for disabled children and young people, life-limited children and young people, and their families.The programme is open to applications at any time. The Trust aims to respond to all applications with a final decision within six weeks.In order to be eligible to apply, organisations must have an annual income of less than £350,000. The Trust is particularly keen to receive applications from organisations which work with children and families from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities or organisations which operate in areas of high deprivation.Funding can be provided for any of the following:Projects:Activities for disabled children, children with life-limiting conditions and their familiesActivities which support siblings of disabled children or siblings of children with life-limiting conditionsBereavement support for children and young peopleFamily support/parent-led peer support for parents of disabled childrenRespite which supports the whole familySupport for disabled children and children with life-limiting conditions who are shielding or unable to return to school due to Covid-19Equipment and Materials:Adaptations to services including PPE, digital service provision and physical changes to spaces to make projects Covid-19 compliantTechnology to support children and families who are isolated due to Covid-19.
