Soho Wharf approved by Birmingham City Council
Approval has recently been granted by the Birmingham City Council for the property development companies Galliard and Apsley to build a 752-home residential development on Soho Wharf in Birmingham.Specifically, the Soho Wharf development will be constructed on a stretch of derelict land on Dudley Road, adjacent to the Birmingham Main Line Canal and opposite the Birmingham City Hospital, and will offer 102 two-to-three bedroom apartments as well as 650 one-to-two bedroom apartments in addition to 100,000sq ft of commercial space.Furthermore, the development has cost a total sum of £165M and is set to see to the improvement of new public realm parks, gardens, shared amenity space, new pedestrian pathways, cycleways, and vehicle routes.
