Speculative Exeter office scheme takes shape
Speculative building at St Modwen’s 1.4 million sq ft Skypark scheme in Exeter is forging ahead as steel frames go up on the first of two new office buildings on site.Once completed in autumn 2017, the building will provide occupiers with 17,142 sq ft of employment space.The offices will join the Ambulance Special Operations Centre and DPD UK’s new 60,000 sq ft distribution centre. They will benefit from the £3.5m worth of investment in road and services infrastructure at Skypark and the five-acre public realm area, complete with trim trail exercise stations.Being delivered over 20 years, Skypark 110-acre site will provide 1.4 million sq ft of warehouse, industrial and office space and deliver up to 6,500 new jobs. St. Modwen’s agents JLL and Alder King are agents for Skypark.
