Every week dozens of planning applications are submitted to Cornwall Council , from conversions and demolitions to new businesses and housing.Most of them are small and about things like new dormer windows or trees that need felling.But large-scale housing schemes and infrastructure projects also follow the same route.Below are 11 planning applications submitted to the local authority in the past week which you know you might need to know about.Nine homes at ZelahThis application is for the construction of four affordable dwellings and five open market dwellings at the land east Of Roseland Terrace, Zelah.The site is currently an agricultural meadow.The application was submitted by Cape Building Consultants Ltd on behalf of M. James.It proposes five three-bedroom units and four two-bedroom units.Home with sand school and stablesThis is an application for a new dwelling, a stable block and a sand school.It is for the land east of Escot, Treneague Road, St Stephen.The application was submitted by dpc Architectural Services on behalf of S. Gratrix.The dwelling will be a three-bedroom unit.The plans also include two new parking spaces.Conversion of offices into a houseThis is an application for the conversion of offices into a home. It is for the address 64 Meneage Street in Helston.The application was submitted by PSD Architectural Services on behalf of Paul Billing.The building will be turned into a four-bedroom home.Three business units creating jobsThis is a planning application for the construction of a block of three B1/B2 business units with associated infrastructure and parking.This is for the land at Western Extension, Threemilestone Industrial Estate.
