Spitfire Homes acquires former Sandvik offices
Housebuilder Spitfire Homes has completed the acquisition of former Sandvik offices in Halesowen in a move that paves the way for a new development.The company has started work on the clearance and demolition of the former office block, which is located on a 5.6-acre site on Manor Way.Spitfire has detailed planning consent to build 61 homes, including a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties.Managing director Ben Leather said: “We are pleased to have completed the acquisition of this prime location in Halesowen, continuing our investment in the region. We have already received a number of enquiries for these 61 design-led homes which will help to meet rising demand from a range of buyers for quality, sustainable homes in the area.”As our reputation as a leading housebuilder continues to grow, we’re anticipating the strong interest in these homes to continue, and will be releasing further details in the new year.”Halesowen offers excellent connectivity via the national motorway network and public transport links, as well as boasting a variety of local amenities.”Work will start in the new year with the first properties expected to be ready in late 2024.
