St. Modwen Logistics engaged on ProCook scheme

St. Modwen Logistics has been engaged by ProCook, a listed direct-to-consumer kitchenware brand, to develop a 167,000 sq ft warehouse in Gloucester.Working closely with Benniman Construction Group, the company is developing a tailored build to suit ProCook’s specific requirements.The site will have specific design elements including a training hub, which will sit at the front of the building and provide training space for warehouse employees, while it will also support ProCook’s sustainability targets.The move comes after ProCook experienced 30 per cent growth in trade for FY22 against the previous year, and addresses a need for the company to “drive efficiencies by consolidating operations from its two existing premises under one roof”.Polly Troughton, managing director at St. Modwen Logistics, said: “At St. Modwen we are committed to providing our customers with the space and support they need to succeed.”ProCook has experienced rapid growth over the last ten years and this warehouse will further support its commitment to growth, sustainability and employee wellbeing.”This has enabled us to work closely with the ProCook team and respond to their specific requirements for their new headquarters – creating a tailored building that will serve the customer’s needs both now and into the future.”Steve Sanders, chief operating officer at ProCook, added: “It’s great to be teaming up with St. Modwen Logistics on this project, as we’ve always enjoyed working with them and their focus on ESG aligns with our values.”Our move to a new, much larger premises reflects ProCook’s success story over the past few years and we’re excited to move in.”
