Strong start to 2019 for property consultancy

A Newcastle-based construction and property consultancy has secured a raft of new contracts on projects valued at more than £100m since the start of the year.Summers-Inman, which is headquartered at Newcastle Great Park, was awarded place on the North East Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) framework for construction services. This resulted in it providing project management and quantity surveying on the new £20m Cornell Student Quarter project at Teesside University.The company is also working on a £100m scheme for Edinburgh University, providing multi-disciplinary support as part of its appointment to Severn Trent Water’s £90m framework, and quantity surveying and employer’s agent services on a new £7m residential scheme for Yorkshire Housing.Plans are also in place to open new offices in Manchester and Birmingham later this year, while the company’s office in Leeds continues to grow.
