Tender: Community Centre management opportunity – Parkhead Housing Association

Parkhead Housing Association are nearing completion of a two year development project to bring a local community asset back to life; Parkhead School will be a central hub for support and recreational activities within the east end of Glasgow. The centre will be home to a range of charities and statutory services providing advice and support to local people across the north east of the city.The centre will require strong leadership and a dedicated team to see it into the next phase of delivering this building back to the community for their benefit.Funded through the National Lottery by the Big Lottery Fund, Community Assets programme – proposals are invited for the management and running of the centre from interested parties that believe they fit with the ethos of the building and have experience of working with local communities and grassroot organisations.The building will be operational 7 days and we are keen to receive proposals that outline your vision for delivering this service. This will include duty management and reception cover. A detailed duty list can be provided upon request.This opportunity is being offered on an initial one year basis, with review of service provision then after. Indicative funding is available to extend the contract beyond this period, through due process.
