Thousands of jobs to be created as new homes, offices, restaurants and parks plan for Worcester revealed
Plans to build 3,000 new homes and create parks, public spaces and cycle routes in Worcester have been set out. New transport routes and business premises and a £385m annual boost to Worcester’s economy are at the heart of a new vision for the city by the year 2040, Worcester City Council has said. Consultation has opened on the new City Centre Masterplan, which includes proposals for the creation of 8,610 jobs, 3,137 homes, 14km of cycling routes and nine parks, squares and public spaces.
