Three projects in the pipeling for galliford try
Galliford Try Partnerships North is set to start work on three new North East projects worth a combined £13m.The new work, which will take approximately 12 months to complete, will create jobs and training opportunities within both the company and with sub-contractors and suppliers.At Crook, 40 bungalows and houses will be constructed in a £4.3m project with County Durham Housing Group. Galliford Try will contribute £1.2m of this from its 2015-18 Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) grant, secured from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).The £5.6m initiative at Esh Winning is for the development of 50 bungalows and houses for Home Group, with Galliford Try again contributing £1.4m to partially fund the work.In Brotton, 25 bungalows will be built for Coast & Country in a scheme known as The Cliffs, which will benefit from a £575,000 HCA grant and a further investment of up to £250,000 from Redcar and Cleveland Council.The initiatives in Crook and Esh Winning in County Durham and Brotton in Cleveland follow the start of work last month on the £2.3m development of 19 family homes in Chester-le-Street.
