Thumbs up for almost 160 homes
Proposals to build almost 160 homes on land formerly used as playing pitches in Stoke-on-Trent have received the thumbs up.Keepmoat Homes sought the go-ahead to construct 157 properties on an approximately 11.1-acre site off of Biddulph Road, Chatterley Whitfield.The scheme comprises three and four-bed units, accompanied by a children’s play area and associated infrastructure. 25 per cent of the properties are allocated as affordable housing.The homes are mix of detached, semi-detached and mews style properties. All the proposed houses are two or two and a half storeys in height.The scheme has now been approved, subject to conditions.
