Thumbs up for Hartlepool housing scheme
Plans for more than 50 new homes in Hartlepool have been given the thumbs up.Housing developer Port Homes intends to construct 55, two-storey homes on land off of Seaton Lane, with the scheme comprising of two-storey, two, three and four-bedroom properties. The development is designed to include a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced houses.All of the new homes include their own private garden area, with the majority of them also including private driveways with space for two vehicles. The scheme provides 117 parking bays in total.The 3.6-acre site lies on the eastern edge of Owton Manor estate and to the south of the Golden Meadows Estate.Hartlepool Borough Council has now given the proposals the thumbs up, subject to conditions.
