Thumbs up for Holiday Inn extension
Plans to add more than 60 additional rooms to a Holiday Inn in Oxford have received the go-ahead from the city council.Under the application, which was filed in October 2017, an existing leisure centre near the Woodstock Road site will be demolished to make way for a four-storey extension of the existing hotel.Following the work the venue will comprise 218 rooms, up from 154.The project is expected to create ten jobs, bringing the hotel’s headcount to 40 staff.
