Durham County Council’s Adult Learning and Skills Service receive funding from the Skills Funding Agency for this provision. The Adult Learning and Skills Service is designated as the ‘Provider’ of this learning through provision that it secures by means of contracts with delivery organisations.Durham County Council’s Adult Learning and Skills Service is pleased to encourage bids to the Classroom Based Adult Skills Budget (ASB). Bidders to the fund will be asked as part of their submission to design and cost appropriate accredited learning programmes up to Level 2 for learners across County Durham. Bidders can apply for this funding from November 2015 with delivery starting in January 2016; all delivery must be completed by 31.7.2016The Council has a 200 000 EUR budget for this funding opportunity of which Bidders can apply for up to a maximum of 50 000 EUR.
