A new sustainable transport hub for a site near Bridgend has been recommended for approval.The application, for the Cenin Renewables site at Parc Stormy, would provide parking spaces as well as a number of electric vehicle charging stations suitable for use by HGVs and cars.The report describes the proposal as a temporary sustainable transport hub and associated works on vacant land at Parc Stormy, Stormy Down, which would be used for up to 30 years.Cenin Renewables’ site already includes turbines, solar panels, an anaerobic digester plant, a cement substitute test facility with silos, the Solcer House and Tesla battery stores, and is located in a high purity limestone resource safeguarding areaBridgend County Borough Council’s development control committee meets on Thursday, 24th October.
