Trinity Gateway proposals set to move forward
Plans to transform a gateway location in Bolton town centre with a multimillion-pound mixed-use development have taken a major step forward.The centrepiece of the Trinity Gateway scheme is a 20-storey residential tower of 144 apartments. This will sit alongside 30,000 sq ft of grade A office space and a 509-strong multi-storey car park.It is one of five intervention areas in Bolton Council’s £1.5bn masterplan, with the development being brought forward by Beechlane Investments.Plans are now set to go on show at public consultation events ahead of a detailed application being submitted.Discussions are also underway with a construction company to build the scheme, while clauses requiring it to use local labour are being drawn up.The planning application is scheduled to be submitted this month.Trinity Gateway has been designed by JM Architects with P4 Planning acting as consultant. Miller Metcalfe is the appointed agent on the commercial office element.
