Debt Collection Sheriff Officer Services contract, to collect outstanding monies for the Council as efficiently and effectively as possible to maximise Councils income for the undernoted income streams: Council Tax (including water and waste water charges), Housing Benefit Overpayments, Non-domestic rates, Penalty Charge Notices – Parking, Penalty Charge Notices – Bus lanes,
Service Income, Former Tenancy Arrears, Business improvement district, Other types of debt that may be added at a later date along with the other services, Rent Evictions and Serving of Notice of Proceedings.
One supplier is sought in respect of all the Services.
It is a requirement of the Contract that the Sheriff Officers and Messengers-at-Arms hold a commission to operate in the Sheriffdom of Grampian. This must be maintained for the duration of the Contract.
