This Procurement exercise is being conducted by both Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council. The service required is fully outlined in the Specification (Document 3). Briefly, the Authorities operate co-mingled kerbside dry recycling services and are looking for a contractor to sort and recycle all of the dry recycling materials they collect. The bid is divided into 2 lots; Lot 1 includes the transport, sorting and recycling of the co-mingled materials and Lot 2 (A and B) comprises the operation of at least two transfer stations including acceptance of the materials, bulking and loading onto vehicles provided by the bidder of Lot 1.
