The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) is the regional strategic social housing authority for Northern Ireland. It is a mandatory requirement that all timber and wood-derived products supplied under this framework and all subsequent call off contracts, originate from legal and sustainable sources or FLEGT licensed or equivalent sources. Please see tender documents for full details. The framework will have a duration of 2 years which will seek to cover the Housing Executive’s requirements for up to 3 years. Prices will not be requested until after the framework has been established. Throughout the call off contracts, the Housing Executive will monitor and review the Contractor’s performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Poor performance will be managed in accordance with Procurement Guidance Note 01/12, including any amendments and updates issued by the Central Procurement Directorate of Northern Ireland.
