United Kingdom-Birmingham: Installation of doors – Framework Lead

The current contract for Installation of doors – Framework Lead is projected to end on 27-JAN-19 and may be available for retender. Framework contract(s) to deliver goods and services.
The Council of Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (CRFCA) is constituted by 13 individual Reserve Forces Cadets Associations (RFCAs). CRFCA mission is a not-for-profit organisation and delivers a range of high quality support services to RFCAs. It also maintains their estate. It aims to deliver best value through efficiency and effectiveness and is one of Ministry of Defence’s partner of choice.
CRFCA on behalf of the RFCAs is to appoint specialist contractors to provide goods and services across 5 regions covering:
A. Scotland and Northern Ireland,
B. North, North-east and North-west of England (includes Yorks and Humber),
C. Wales, West Midlands, East Midlands.
D. SW England.
E. SE England, London, East Anglia.
CRFCA is to set up the following frameworks that will deliver goods and services across these regions.
1. Lot 1 – Internal door installation and incidental building works (Ref: Installation of doors – 45421131 and installation of metal structures – 45223110),
2. Lot 2 – External door set (Ref: Reinforced doors – 44421500),
3. Lot 3 – Detection alarm system and maintenance contract (Ref: Alarm Systems – 35121700),
4. Lot 4 – Design, supply and install specialist racking/storage container equipment (Ref: Storage equipment (shelving and racking) – 39151100),
5. Lot 5 – Sublots (A to E) principal contractor (Ref: Management contracting (general contracting work) – 71247000).
Each framework will run for a maximum length of 3 years and an option to extend for a further 2 years. The framework will be managed under a framework agreement that will have call off contract terms based on NEC standard form of contract and amended to incorporate required option Z clauses.
Bidders will be required to provide satisfactory personnel security clearance checks and satisfy data management protocols. Failure to do so could exclude them being awarded any 1 of the contract lots.
