The current contract for Fleet management, repair and maintenance services – Recurrent Lead is projected to end on 30-SEP-23 and may be available for retender. HBC – Vehicle Fleet Maintenance.

Hertsmere Borough Council seeks a suitable qualified contractor to undertake Vehicle Maintenance from it’s three bay workshop at Cranborne Road depot in Potters Bar. The vehicles to be maintained include refuse collection vehicles, street cleansing vehicles, recycling vehicles and general vans. The fleet comprises a total of 43 vehicles with additional vehicles hired during busy periods. Types of vehicles within the fleet include RCVs, cage tippers, mechanical sweepers, grab lorry, and vans. The majority of the vehicles are based in the Councils Cranborne Road depot, however some are based in the Engineering Services depot in Borehamwood. In the case of these vehicles it is the Councils responsibility to ensure the vehicles are transported to Cranborne Road depot.
The contract will be for a five year period with a possible 2-year extension.
