Business Case Independent Review Framework
WECA has a requirement for the independent review of business cases seeking funding from the LEP funding streams (LGF, EDF, RIF) and the West of England Investment Fund. This requirement is stated in the respective Government guidance for these funds.
The aim of the independent reviews is to provide challenge and scrutiny of scheme viability, deliverability and anticipated outcomes. In doing so the independent reviews will help to support project investment decision making by the WECA Committee and West of England Joint Committee.
