Short description of the contract or purchase(s): University of Chester is seeking to appoint up to 1 or more participants to a framework for the supply of
Lot 1 – Supply of Natural Gas
Lot 2 – Supply of Electricity – Half Hourly
Lot 3 – Supply of Electricity – Non Half Hourly
to various sites under the responsibility of the University.
It is envisaged that a maximum number of participants will be appointed onto the framework.
Over the period of the contract term, buildings may be taken out of use (either temporarily or permanently), or new buildings/campuses brought into use.
The framework agreement is for a maximum period of 4 years. Tenderers are invited to tender for 12, 24 and 36 months options, for EACH of the Lots. Subject to the term of contracts awarded, the University of Chester may extend and conduct further competition between appointed participants for up to a maximum term of 4 years.
In order for the University to comply with its requirements arising from certain legislation, your organisation must be in possession of an OFGEM Supply Licence in order to maintain, become party to and comply with the industry codes in accordance to the conditions of their licence.
