Derbyshire County Council is procuring a constructor of new integrated facilities on Derwent Street, Belper Derbyshire. The site is partially demolished and cleared of the newer factory buildings only.
A business need has been identified for the development of:
First Phase:
A direct replacement for the Derbyshire County Council existing home within Belper.
A direct replacement for the Belper Library, a 3-storey converted house located in Belper.
Second Phase:
Construction of a health and care facility.
The contracting authority responsible for the second phase cannot be named at the outset due to current involvement in a public consultation exercise that cannot be compromised. For further information, please see II.2.4) Description of the procurement.
