United Kingdom-Derby: General-practitioner services – Framework Lead

The current contract for General-practitioner services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 21-APR-21 and may be available for retender. Procurement of Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) GP services for St Thomas Road Surgery in Normanton on behalf of NHS England (North Midlands) and Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SDCCG) and NHS England (North Midlands) are inviting suitably qualified providers to deliver Alternative Primary Medical Services for St Thomas Road Surgery in Derby City.
The Contracts will be for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for up to 5 years (60 months). The ITT will be available from 19.11.2015 and a deadline for responses is 17:00, 21.12.2015.

The successful provider will need to demonstrate that they can deliver service(s) of a continuously high-quality and will be responsive to the needs of the diverse local population. The Provider will be assessed on an on-going basis to ensure they deliver the quality required. There is an option to deliver the General Practitioner (GP) Services from the existing premises.
These services must be provided by GPs and Nurses and the provider will be expected to deliver:
– High quality Primary Medical Services responsive to the needs of the local population.
– Promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health.
– Essential services.
– All additional services.
– All Enhanced Services commissioned by NHS England and SDCCG.
– Increased access.
