Source: Tracker Intelligence

The current contract for Foreign economic-aid-related services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 01-APR-20 and may be available for retender. Infrastructure and Cities for Economic Development.
The five year DFID Infrastructure and Cities for Economic Development programme aims to support DFID and our development partners: improve the enabling environment for sustainable, inclusive growth-enhancing infrastructure service delivery; and, harness the benefits of cities for sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction in DFID focus countries. This OJEU is for the procurement of a Facility that will play a central role in delivering ICED’s objectives. The Supplier(s) managing the Facility will work with DFID Country Offices to support a major scale-up of our programming in these areas through scoping and designing new programmes, responding to the outcomes of the country-level Inclusive Growth Diagnostics currently underway. The Facility will develop and publish for the wider development community evidence products to respond to key knowledge gaps and provide analysis and knowledge to maximise the effectiveness of DFID’s engagement in global policy debates. Learning from this knowledge role should feed into the Country Office work and vice-versa. Finally, the Facility will support ICED’s DFID-based Programme Management Team in managing key elements of DFID’s relations with a range of additional parties supported under the wider ICED programme, including the Construction Sector Transparency Initiative and Cities Alliance, again ensuring cross-fertilisation of knowledge from other activities.
