Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Refuse and waste related services. City West Housing Trust (CWHT) wish to procure a Framework Agreement pursuant to which it is envisaged that contracts will be let to suppliers within the framework for the provision of a range of waste and refuse collection services. Under the Framework Agreement the following entities will have the option to call-off contracts with individual framework suppliers as and when services are required: (i) CWHT; (ii)Any entity within the same group of companies as CWHT, including City West Works Limited (CWW); (iii)Other Social Housing Providers in the UK (both those that are in existence now and those that may be in existence in the future). ‘Social Housing Provider’ for this purpose means any provider of social housing and includes, without limitation, registered housing providers, local authorities and ALMOs. A list of these can be found by visiting www.homesandcommunities.co.uk Such Social Housing Providers will only be entitled to call off under the Framework Agreement if CWHT consents It is envisaged that the first call off contract awarded under the Framework Agreement will be awarded by CWW covering the following requirements.:- 1 to 2 x 25CU Skips based at 626 Eccles New Road, Salford, M5 5SJ. – Emptied 5 days a week (Monday – Friday)1 x 25CU. – Skips based at Bridgewater Street, Little Hulton, M38 9ND. – Emptied 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 8:00 and 10:00).Vehicles have the option to go direct to a local area to dispose of waste. .Further details of CWW’s requirements will be set out in the tender documents. The Framework Agreement will be in place for a maximum period of 4 years, however contracts called-off under the Framework Agreement may, where appropriate, continue beyond the 4 year term of the Framework Agreement.
