Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to commission three Framework Contractors to provide multi-trade works to carry out the Neighbourhood Environmental Programme (“NEP”) in housing estates and other External Works required across the Council. This NEP element of the works represents the core programme managed under the Housing & Regeneration Division within the Council. The works involved is mainly hard and soft landscaping, fencing, paving, minor road works and external works developed from Neighbourhood Partnerships, Local Community Plans and NEP Masterplans. See for further details. The anticipated annual budget for the NEP’s Programme is 2.1 m GBP. However as this contract can be utilised by any other department they contract has been advertised at a higher contract value.
