United Kingdom-Fareham: Cleaning and sanitation services – Framework Lead
The current contract for Cleaning and sanitation services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 02-FEB-21 and may be available for retender. Cleaning Contract (April 2016 – 2021 with a 2 year extension option).
The Council’s current cleaning contract expires at midnight on 31.3.2016 and will be superseded by the contract awarded to the successful bidder identified through this tendering exercise.
The specification detailed herein sets out the general level of service to be provided by the successful bidder (‘the Service Provider’), in regard to its Corporate Cleaning Service. The contract will be managed and monitored by the Authority’s’ Authorised Representative (‘the AAR’). The Service Provider will provide a single point of contact for all day-to-day operational issues referred to as the Service Providers Authorised Representative (‘the SPAR’)
B. SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Council’s requirement is that the present diverse cleaning arrangements are incorporated into one corporate wide contract under this common specification with all services managed by a single Service Provider.
The specified work will be carried out (in total) by the managing Service Provider who can denote named and approved sub-contractors for specific cleaning elements.
The Council will have a single point of contact with the managing Service Provider for ALL services provided under this new contract.
Scope of the Service Required:
– Housing Establishments: (sixty-three separate sheltered & non-sheltered places of multiple occupancy – three of these are provisional only)
– Ferneham Hall: (toilets, offices & associated rooms)
– Council Depot: (toilets, offices & associated rooms)
– Public Conveniences: (15 in total)
– Street Operatives Rest Rooms (2 in total)
– Pavilions: (7 in total) plus a Cemetery Chapel
– Car Parks: (toilets, offices & associated rooms along with lifts, stairwells, lobbies & ticket machines)
– Town Centre Shopping Area: (specialist street washing & gum removal)
– Public Notice Boards (43 in total)
– Welcome Notice Boards to outdoor recreation sites. (19 in total)
– Civic Offices (window cleaning and other duties)
– Various Sites: (ad-hoc requirement for single clean-up operations by other council departments e.g. Environmental Health or Housing).
