Short description of the contract or purchase(s): It is proposed to conclude a Multiple Framework Agreement in compliance with relevant legislation for the supply of consultancy staff to provide a range of professional services to Transport Scotland.
The Standards Branch of Trunk Road and Bus Operations (TRBO) is responsible for developing, maintaining and updating design standards and guidance and reviewing and determining departures from standards in the following areas:
– Road Geometry;
– Vehicle restraint systems;
– Drainage;
– Road pavement design and construction;
– Traffic signals; and;
– Geotechnics.
The Branch also provides input to the scheme development and design process and performs a key role in the delivery team.
It is proposed to conclude a Multiple Framework Agreement in compliance with relevant legislation for the supply of consultancy staff to provide a range of professional services to Transport Scotland covering the range of tasks outlined above.
