Short description of the contract or purchase(s): PURCH1162 Framework Agreement for the Provision of Material Scanning for Document Management for a period of 12 months with the option to extend by 3 periods of 12 months each.
The University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint a number of suppliers to manage and carry out the scanning of materials across the University.
Though this contract will apply throughout the University, it will be used primarily by document management staff based in the Estates and Buildings department and University Services (Finance, Human Resources etc.) and potentially the four colleges – the College of Arts; College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences; College of Science and Engineering and College of Social Sciences.
The requirement for this Framework is primarily due to the re-location on circa 200 staff members moving from their current offices on Campus to Tay House, Bath Street, Glasgow. The move has resulted in fewer storage facilities being available and therefore the scanning of documents is now necessary.
