Short description of the contract or purchase(s): City Building (Glasgow) LLP a wholly owned subsidiary of Glasgow City Council is seeking offers for the provision of a fleet of approx 720 No. new commercial vehicles on a flexible contract rental basis. The contract will be for a period of 2 years with options to extend up to a further 24 months at City Building’s absolute and sole discretion. The rate quoted per vehicle should be inclusive of Road Fund Licence, breakdown support, recovery and replacement 24/7, 365 days per year, maintenance and servicing, tyre repair/replacement, windscreen/glass repair/replacement and a comprehensive vehicle fleet management service as detailed in the tender documents. The vehicles and services stated in the tender are not exhaustive and additional, associated or alternative vehicles and / or services may be required throughout the term of the contract at comparable rates to those offered in the tender which may impact on the projected value of the contract.
