United Kingdom-Glasgow: Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Framework Lead

The current contract for Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Framework Lead is projected to end on 28-FEB-19 and may be available for retender. Contract 2 – Sighthill TRA Infrastructure.
Contract 2 – Sighthill TRA Infrastructure is a Design & Build Contract which will require the appointment of a Contractor to develop a detailed design for this particular contract (accept where stated otherwise) and requires the Contractor to develop a detailed design for the site allowing the scope of works to be implemented in full.
The scope of works incorporates, but is not limited to:
– Delivery of roads network and roads and street lighting (including intelligent) network, detailed design provided by GCC;
– Earthworks to realise a serviced development platforms;
– Delivery of and integrated designs for key services infrastructure: district heating, drainage (foul and SUDs), utilities (gas, power, comms water). To deliver strategic, distributor and local services assets;
– Provide for integrated solutions to allow successful construction of services platforms (serviced by the above mentioned key services);
– Delivery of soft and hard landscape proposals;
– Demolition of buildings and structures;
– Localised remediation – asbestos materials from demolitions, deal with contamination ‘unknowns’ encountered during works;
– Ecological mitigation where required;
– Statutory and non-statutory approvals in support of detailed designs / construction as required.
