The collection, transfer and recycling or final disposal of municipal waste (EWC 20 03 01) in the form of dry mixed recycling and a blend of ‘black bag’ waste and shredded bulky waste typical of that generated at a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).The contractor will be expected to collect the laden residual waste and recycling containers from the Marine Haulage Contractor at Penzance, transport them to a suitable waste recycling, disposal, treatment or recovery site for recycling or final disposal/treatment and return the containers as per the waste transfer schedule. The schedule is subject to seasonal variation, tide and shipping times. During the Contract Period, a combined volume of mixed recycling, black bag waste and shredded bulky waste is anticipated to be up to 4 500 tonnes.
