Short description of the contract or purchase(s): As part of our commitment towards safety management, efficiency and customer service Northern Gas Networks are in the process of evaluating our supply chain for pipe fittings and equipment for use at both above and below 7bar. Northern Gas Networks are seeking to establish a quality vendor’s framework to run for the next eight years and use it as the basis for sourcing the items within this scope.
In particular, this tender will focus upon quality, requiring vendors to demonstrate how they ensure that the materials and equipment supplied meet with the recommended standard. Northern Gas Networks are also looking to extend this framework to cover the gas industry as well as commercial quality standard fittings and pipe.
