Short description of the contract or purchase(s): London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking the provision of advisory services to the Mayor and Cabinet Members on developing initiatives, projects and work programmes on the Lots described below.
Lot 1: Localism.
Mayoral Advisory services enabling the Mayor to make informed decisions on the application and implementation of the Localism Agenda.
Lot 2: Equalities and the Public Sector Equality Duty in relation to women.
Mayoral Advisory services on the provision of consultancy, advisory and engagement services to the Mayor of Tower Hamlets on Equalities and the Public Sector Equality Duty in relation to Women.
Lot 3: Equalities and Diverse Communities.
Mayoral Advisory services on the provision of consultancy, advisory and engagement services to the Mayor of Tower Hamlets on Equalities and Diverse Communities.
Lot 4: Engaging Young People.
Mayoral Advisory services on the provision of specialist consultancy and advisory services to the Mayor of Tower Hamlets on Engaging Young People.
Lot 5: Engaging with the Somali Community.
Mayoral Advisory services on provision of specialist consultancy and advisory services to the Mayor of Tower Hamlets on Engaging with the Somali Community.
Lot 6: Communities’ Communication and Media, BME Media and Bangladeshi Media.
Mayoral Advisory services on the provision of specialist consultancy and advisory services to the Mayor of Tower Hamlets on community communications and media, BME media and Bangladeshi media.
Lot 7: Media Management.
Mayoral Advisory services on the provision of specialist consultancy and advisory services to the Mayor of Tower Hamlets on Media Exposure of Tower Hamlets.
Mayor’s advisors will contribute to the delivery of all the strategic priorities for 14/15 and the Mayor’s manifesto commitments throughout his term.
Advisors will assist in the refresh of strategies around diversity and inclusion ensuring every voice matters and contribute to:
– New or improved engagement with the Mayor and Council with residents, community groups and organisations;
– New or improved initiatives work programmes projects with residents, community groups and organisations.
The successful advisors will be required to advise the Mayor and Cabinet members on the strategic approach and delivery of the Mayor’s priorities, projects and initiatives and shall advise on developments in policy, good practice and all other appropriate matters relevant to the delivery of the Mayor’s priorities, projects and initiatives.
