Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Advice and reporting services:
– Reviewing proposals or completed installations designed by other and preparing reports and advice.
– Preparing specifications for the procurement of Mechanical and Electrical systems and equipment for both new build and refurbishment / modernisation projects.
– Providing technical advice and provision of detailed reports to support A2Dominion technical and non-technical staff.
– Undertaking specialist M&E inspections in order to satisfy current regulations and determine effective strategies.
– Audit and review M&E Services and Maintenance Contracts and in particular providing independent review of contract rates in accordance with the contract terms and conditions, reviewing contractor performance and providing reports with recommendations. Where required providing full contract supervision and support to A2Dominion.
– Act on behalf of A2Dominion to resolve issues of defective workmanship and non-performance of contractors including undertaking inspection, preparation of technical reports and working with A2Dominion and representatives of the Contractor.
– Ensuring that all statutory and legal requirements are satisfied and further that A2Dominion remain compliant at all times with current legislation. Providing qualified personnel to ensure that all inspection targets are achieved.
– Providing assistance and support to A2Dominion in the procurement of Mechanical and Electrical Contracts including those contracts to be procurement through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
– Advising on emergency works, repairs and safety matters under the appointment.
– Providing advice on energy and environmental / sustainability compliance.
– Working with A2Dominion’s team and other Consultants.
– Undertaking Expert Witness services.
Detailed design:
– Design and/or specification of new or replacement services.
– Working with other Consultants in the Design Team and A2Dominion’s team for new and refurbishment projects.
