United Kingdom-London: Video recording or reproducing apparatus – Framework Lead
The current contract for Video recording or reproducing apparatus – Framework Lead is projected to end on 17-DEC-22 and may be available for retender. Intergrated Management System – Digital Video Recording System.
City of London Police are looking for a partner to work with to provide an integrated management system and digital (video) recording system (iMS-DRS). The new system will be an externally hosted service that will be capable of managing all of our current analogue CCTV estate across the City of London and ingest video from a number of other sources including but not limited to:
– In Car CCTV,
– Tablets,
– Body Worn Video,
– 3rd party CCTV systems,
– Television Network Protocol (TVNP),
– Multifocal Sensor Arrays.
The system will be able to receive alarms form critical national infrastructure (CNI) and other City of London sites. The system will provide software to support the analysis of all stored data. The data itself will be hosted on a digital platform that can be accessed through CoLP supplied workstations and tablets. The iMS-DRS will be required to support the migration of the CoLP CCTV estate to High Definition Internet Protocol (HD IP) camera technology. The new system will to embrace emerging technologies such as facial recognition and behavioural analytics.
Other services required include:
– Geo Mapping,
– Thermal Imaging,
– Integration with databases such as Human Resources and Crime Reporting.
The contract was for an initial 5 year period with the option to extend a further 2 years.
