Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The NWUPC wishes to establish a multi-provider Framework Agreement for the supply, delivery and installation of High Value Spectroscopy Equipment, including supply of Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables and provision of Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment.
The Framework Agreement will be split into 3 lots:
Lot 1: Atomic Spectrophotometers, Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables, Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment.
Lot 2: Molecular Spectrophotometers, Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables, Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment.
Lot 3: Raman Spectrophotometers, Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables, Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment.
The Framework Agreement put in place will be open to all universities in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, including any new and successor institutions with the URL .ac.uk. The Details of the current known Institutions in the UK are available at: and !/members

The Framework Agreement will also be available for use by all current, and any new and successor members of the above consortia including non-university members.
The term Institution is used within this document to refer to all eligible universities, research councils, consortia members and other Institutions with an .ac.uk URL.
The Framework Agreement may be used by institutions accessing funding streams, including but not limited to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Horizon 2020.
The Framework Agreement is not limited to purchase of new equipment. Institutions may wish to purchase, hire or lease new and or pre-owned equipment through the Agreement put in place.
The estimated spend for the new Agreement for the for supply, delivery and installation of High Value Spectroscopy Equipment, including supply of Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables and provision of Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment ranges at between GBP 3 000 000 and GBP 30 000 000 per annum. Amounting to between GBP 12 000 000 and GBP 120 000 000 over the 4 years of the Framework Agreement.
