Victory Housing Trust is a registered charity and registered provider of affordable homes for those in housing need. Victory owns nearly 5 000 properties and defines it’s operational area as across the whole of Norfolk. Whilst the majority of the properties are located within the local authority area of North Norfolk, properties are also owned in the local authority areas of Broadland, King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Great Yarmouth, Norwich City, Breckland and South Norfolk.
The Trust employs nearly 90 staff at its head office in North Walsham and has an annual turnover of 22 000 000 GBP. It invests approximately GBP10 million each year in planned improvement and repair works to its existing stock and has built over 577 new homes since it was formed in 2006 (by March 2015). It has a target to develop a further 740 homes by 2023.The Corproate Plan (see website for more information www.victoryhousing.co.uk) sets out Victory’s Vision, Mission and three objectives which summarise our overall direction and purpose.
The works value related to the construction costs that are predicted (and not guaranteed) at 20 000 000 GBP to 50 000 000 GBP over a four year period for new build projects. Further, input to major refurbishment, repairs and adaptation projects also requiring professional services included in the frameworks currently range in value from 10 000 to 500 000 GBP.
