Short description of the contract or purchase(s):: Anglian Water is seeking partners who will secure 100 % of the required funding and then deliver renewable energy solutions for its sites. Our intention is to award a maximum of 4 frameworks for wind and solar. These 2 sources of renewable energy will be our initial focus. There will be 2 lots, with a maximum of 2 suppliers for each lot. Bidders may bid for both lots or just 1 lot.
The framework supplier(s) will finance, project manage, design, procure, construct, operate and maintain the installations. Anglian Water has already identified a number of sites where such installations may be possible. Partners will be offered the exclusive opportunity to develop detailed proposals which allow Anglian Water to enter into a long term power purchase agreement with the supplier(s). Anglian Water will co-ordinate with the framework suppliers to identify and review proposals.
