Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The University of Central Lancashire is 1 of the UK’s largest universities with 35 000 students, and we aim to provide an excellent experience for every single 1 of them. We are the first modern university in the UK to be listed in the QS World Rankings and we are consistently rated in the top 10 modern universities in the country.
Employing over 2 500 staff we offer a range of professional and career development opportunities for both academic and professional support staff across the University. We are renewing our current contract to continue the high quality provision for individual, team and organisational learning for a further period of up to 4 years.
Inclusion on the University Supplier list is no guarantee of business but it is our intention to give an opportunity to all the suppliers, through an ongoing working relationship.
We are interested in a range of learning media and proposed learning methods could include training course delivery, online learning, group facilitation, 1-to-1 coaching and accredited programmes. We expect providers to be able to work from the initial concept, through the design stage, consultation, preparation of materials, delivery and evaluation to ensure the value-add of learning for the University.
The learning method would be dependent on each project, the required content and would suit a range of learning styles. We would expect to discuss the options with the chosen provider for each project during the design stage.
We also require some HR practical services, including running assessment centres.
