The current contract for Sewage, refuse, cleaning and environmental services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 22-OCT-20 and may be available for retender. Treatment and Disposal of Organic Waste.
Barnsley MBC, Doncaster MBC and Rotherham MBC are inviting qualified providers to tender for (up to) 3 individual lots to treat and dispose of organic waste arising from various sources including domestic and commercial premises and municipal operations.
This will amount to approximately 50-60 000 tonnes per annum in total. Organic waste will include but not be limited to; un-shredded grass cuttings, hedge clippings, tree pruning, weeds, dead plant material; soil bound roots, leaves and other vegetation.

Dependent on each individual Councils requirements, deliveries will either be direct by refuse collection vehicles, direct by bulk haulage vehicles or collection by the provider from an agreed transfer station.
