Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Purpose of this tender is to place a framework agreement with a number of suppliers on behalf of CPC members to access for their Construction Workshop and Estates Supplies.
Members have the right to utilise e-auctions during the further competition stage of the supplier award.
This Framework Agreement will be split into six lots.
The Supplier(s) is / are the Tenderer(s) whose Tender is accepted in whole or in part by the CPC and who undertakes to accept orders for goods or services within the terms of the Tender from the participating Institutions and Consortia. It is a requirement of the Tender that the selected Supplier(s) will extend the terms to all eligible Institutions as defined by the CPC including Further Education Institutions, Sixth Forms, Academies, Schools, Museums and other similar organisations.
The tender may also be available to the WFEPC (Welsh Further Education Purchasing Consortium . The tender and subsequent framework will be made available to NWUPC (North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium) and to NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium) and its members, they have not committed to use the framework but may wish to access it in the future, other Higher Education Institutions may directly use the framework through CPC as a single contract member. The CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating Institutions and Consortia.

The Framework Agreement shall be established for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
