United Kingdom-Sandbach: Social work and related services – Framework Lead

The current contract for Social work and related services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 15-JAN-21 and may be available for retender. Specialist Domestic Abuse Services.
The domestic abuse service will offer victims and their family a risk and needs led response, delivered in partnership with other agencies, which proactively addresses risk and safety, supports a victim’s practical needs, empowers them to regain control of their life and enables long term recovery.
The service we intend to commission is for community-based medium risk services and temporary housing for families and includes:
1. Co-delivery with the existing Council based IDVA service of Cheshire East Domestic Abuse Hub (point of information and service access for all domestic abuse provision)
2. Provision of an accessible support base in Crewe and Macclesfield
3. Provision of refuge accommodation and housing support to victims of domestic abuse from within and outside the Borough
4. Direct service provision to medium risk victims and historic victims, where appropriate, of all ages in the community (one to one and group support including recovery work) and providing support to partners of people on change programmes
5. Support for those who harm others
6. Direct service provision to any child or young person affected by domestic abuse including the children of adult service users and children and young people referred in their own right (one to one and group support according to need and extending to recovery)
7. Participation in preventive measures such as campaigns, training and educational work
8. Participation in the wider work of Cheshire East Domestic Abuse Partnership
The service will form part of a whole system and whole family response to domestic abuse, including identification, referral and triage, risk reduction and support to victims, children and perpetrators and those who work with them or are concerned about them.
