United Kingdom-Sheffield: Social work and related services – Framework Lead

The current contract for Social work and related services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 18-MAR-19 and may be available for retender. Social work fast-track entry programme.
The Department intends to procure a fast-track entry programme that recruits and provides participants with a 2 year regulator-approved training course, leading to a postgraduate social work qualification within 14 months and an MA within 2 years. The contract will run for 3 years initially with the option to extend for a further 2 years based on performance. The contract will run from early 2016 to end March 2019 (in the first instance), with the first cohort of the programme starting training in summer 2017. It should produce at least 1100 outstanding qualified social workers over 3 cohorts of participants.
Funding for this programme is subject to the outcomes of the Spending Review 2015. A contract will only be issued once the available funding has been confirmed. The Department reserves the right to end the procurement process at any time.
