Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council wishes to establish a Framework Agreement (with 3 Lots) for the provision Schools insurance and insurance services for its own maintained and aided schools and for potential use by any local authority in England; or any individual school within any local authority in England subject to meeting agreed underwriting and risk criteria.
The Tender is open to the following organisations:
Insurers, registered with the FCA, proposing to provide the service on a deal-direct basis with the Council and/or Schools insured under the Framework. Such insurers must have the infrastructure to provide the service on a direct (non-agency) basis.
Insurance Brokers or Managing General Agents who are submitting a bid which is fully and exclusively supported by Insurers which are registered with the FCA and authorised to transact business. When submitting their Bid the name, identity and the exclusive quotation basis must be clearly identified for all covers being tendered.
