Greater Manchester (GM) is developing an Ethical Learning Disability and Autism Purchasing System. Local Authorities (LAs) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) within GM will commission person-centred and outcome-focused packages which will support people with learning disabilities and autism to be independent at home, learn new skills and connect with others. The life journey approach will seek innovative solutions from providers which develop a sense of community and a sustainable network local to where people live.
