The current contract for Business services: law, marketing, consulting, recruitment, printing and security – Framework Lead is projected to end on 06-FEB-20 and may be available for retender. Framework Agreement For The Provision Of An Employee Benefits Scheme.
Somerset County Council intends to set up a single supplier framework Agreement for the provision of a managed employee benefits scheme across SCC and available to other public sector authorities. The scheme may include but will not be limited or committed to the following Childcare Vouchers, Critical Illness Insurance/Cancer Plan, Cycle to work Scheme, Green Car Scheme, Health Screening, Holiday Trading, Learning and Personal Development, Life Assurance, Mobile phone/technology purchase, Payroll Giving, Shopping and leisure discounts,Travel Discounts, Health Cash Plans, Car Leasing discounts – some of these benefits may carry tax or national insurance benefits for the staff or employer and the supplier will need to comply with the relevant legislation.
The key requirements include
– a web-enabled online platform providing single sign – on access to systems fully hosted by the supplier with proven data security provision.
– the development, implementation, promotion, delivery, management, administration and maintenance of a suite of flexible voluntary adn salary sacrifice benefits
– provision of a range of employee benefits which appeals to a wide demographic employee base that will include those listed above.
– scaleable provision to enable the development of benefit schemes over time and future proofing to ensure the continued provision of the agreed scheme and the development of new offerings.
– the ability to brand the platforms to individual contracting authorities requirements
– the provision of a fully managed scheme which enables users to interface directly with the supplier and a user helpline to resolve queries and provide assistance
– the ability to effectively communicate the package of benefits to users to encourage wide uptake
– the provision of detailed management information regarding user usage on a regular basis.
