United Kingdom-Telford: Social work services with accommodation – Framework Lead
The current contract for Social work services with accommodation – Framework Lead is projected to end on 03-OCT-20 and may be available for retender. Accommodation and Support.
Social work services with accommodation. This opportunity is being procured under PCR 2015 Regulation 74 ‘Light Touch Regime’ using an open tender procedure.
In a Short Term Supported Accommodation service a service user will receive:
– Accommodation (funded by the Service User or through Housing Benefit/Public funds for under 18 year olds) provided by a Landlord who may or may not be the Support Provider.
– Intensive Housing Management (funded by Service User or through Housing Benefit/ Public funds for under 18 year olds) provided by the Landlord who may or may not be the Support Provider
– Support (funded by the Service User or through this Short Term Supported Accommodation contract/ Public funds for under 18 year olds)
All of the above are delivered by the Landlord of the Accommodation and/or Support Provider, with the aim of supporting the service user to establish independence and move on from the Short Term Supported Accommodation Service.
This contract is for the availability of the Accommodation and the delivery and funding of the Support Service that people receive in Short Term Supported Accommodation.
The service is for a high quality personally tailored Short Term Supported Accommodation service to be delivered to those Service Users most in need across Telford and Wrekin who have an accommodation and support need.
Support is of a preventative nature with the aim of helping Service Users to establish independence, move on to general needs accommodation and lead fulfilling and independent lives.
The Contract will cover the entire geographical area of Telford & Wrekin.
The Contract will cover all client groups with the aim of delivering tailored services to meet individual need.
Information illustrating the existing provision of these services is included in the tender documentation as Appendix 6 Current Service Provision
This contract will be to secure provision of the maximum possible number of hours for a cost envelope of 440 000 GBP or less.
Bidders will be evaluated on:
– The quality of the proposal;
– The capacity they can offer in terms of matching as closely as possible the number of units of appropriate quality accommodation available;
– Delilvering the maximum possible number of Service User support hours that will be delivered across the units of accommodation;
– Providing the required geographical spread of Service;
– Being able to meet the needs of a variety of Service Users
The appointed Bidder will be required to use the accommodation and support flexibly in order to best meet the individual accommodation and support needs of the Service Users.
The Council will accept bids from a Lead Provider who may hold sub-contracts with other Providers in order to deliver the specified service.
